ET Solar provides 21MW of solar PV modules to FLS Energy for one of the largest solar system installations for a military purpose in North Carolina. The project, expected to be connected to the grid by the end of this year, is estimated to have an annual yield of 48GWh.

ET Solar, a Chinese provider of PV panels, has provided 21MW of solar modules to FLS Energy, a top 3 North Carolina solar contractor.

The project, which will be designed and installed by FLS, is one of the largest solar system installations for a military purpose in North Carolina, according to ET Solar. The system is estimated to have an annual yield of 48GWh, and electricity generated from this plant will be purchased by North Carolina Eastern Municipal Power Agency under a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The project is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of this year.

According to Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar, North Carolina is the 6th largest solar-power-generating state in the country, and the FLS project accounts for more than 5% of all solar system installations in the region.

“We are very proud to be playing such a very meaningful role in facilitating North Carolina’s solar industry development,” commented Dennis.
