The latest trend in residential solar might just be an in-store kiosk. OneRoof Energy is now partnering with Fry’s Electronics to offer the convenience. Initially, the kiosks will be available at two California locations, one in San Diego and the other in Sunnyvale.
Customers can use the interactive devices at the two Fry’s locations to learn how easy and affordable it is to go solar. They will also have access to user-friendly customization tools to design their OneRoof Energy system. At the kiosk, customers can create individualized, efficient systems as well as sign up to finance or purchase the system online.
Manual Valerio, Fry’s Community Relations Manager, said, “Fry’s Electronics is pleased to work with OneRoof Energy to promote greater awareness of the importance of solar energy…. We are confident our tech-savvy and environmentally-conscious customers will appreciate the importance of solar energy, and why thousands of homeowners are already enjoying the benefits of clean, affordable energy. Solar energy is a great way to save money and help protect our environment.”
David Field, OneRoof Energy President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are thrilled that Fry’s is a supporter of clean energy…. The in-store kiosks represent a tremendous opportunity for both companies and Fry’s has wasted no time in helping its customers make solar more accessible.”
OneRoof Energy joins fellow installers like Sunrun and SolarCity in the in-store kiosk trend. Who will be next?
