Principal Solar names Brenda Jackson, former chief customer officer and senior vice president of Oncor, to its Board of Directors.
Principal Solar (OTC Pink: PSWW) has appointed Brenda Jackson to its Board of Directors. Jackson’s expertise and experience in the electric energy sector will help PSI to strengthen its market relationships and enhance the corporate value proposition.
“Brenda brings considerable talent for cultivating and sustaining relationships, and she will play a key role in expanding our affiliations with the traditional energy community,” says Michael Gorton, CEO and chairman of PSI.
Jackson is the former chief customer officer and senior vice president of Oncor, Texas’ leading electric transmission and distribution service provider. During her 40-year tenure at Oncor, which serves 10M customers across the state of Texas, Jackson played a critical role in customer operations, customer service, and community relations. As senior vice president, she oversaw a team of more than 100 employees and, indirectly, the dedicated customer care and revenue management employees of a major contractor.
Jackson commented: “The PSI team and its mission are energizing. I look forward to helping PSI build industry relationships and supporting their initiatives to make solar a mainstream component of the country’s energy supply.”
Principal Solar is a publicly traded solar energy holding company executing a roll-up strategy to create the world’s first distributed solar utility. The firm concentrates its resources on the acquisition, finance, development, and management of solar power companies.
