San Diego, CA – The San Diego Chargers and Solar Alliance of America are teaming up for the new football season to help promote solar energy. The partnership will begin on August 12, 2013.
“The San Diego Chargers are an integral part of the San Diego community,” said Artie Rose, CEO and President of Solar Alliance of America. “As the largest residential-only solar contractor in San Diego, it was natural for us to become a Proud Partner of the San Diego Chargers to get the word out about the benefits of homeowners going solar.”
As part of the partnership, Solar Alliance of America will be offering two free tickets to a San Diego Chargers home game to each homeowner who completes a free solar estimate. The homeowner must have an average electricity bill of $200 or more.
San Diego has been a hotbed for Solar Alliance of America residential solar electric system installations due its abundant sunshine. Solar Alliance of America was recognized as the largest residential-only solar contractor in San Diego by Solar Power World magazine in 2012. Solar Alliance of America also received the 45th position on the 2012 Inc. 500’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.
The San Diego Chargers play in Qualcomm stadium and are a member of the NFL’s AFC West. Solar Alliance of America has also recently partnered with the San Diego Padres to promote solar energy.
